Let me give it to you straight: Oculus Quest 2 deals are very rare. The VR headset, now officially called Meta Quest 2, has been a massive success, and Facebook (err, Meta) hasn’t been particularly eager to discount such a cash cow. That being said, there are a few ways to save some money on the video game console, you’ll just need to be patient and maybe get a little creative.

For starters, you could save money on the Oculus Quest 2 by picking up a bundle. With a bundle, you’ll typically get the headset alongside useful Oculus Quest 2 accessories such as a carrying case or link cable kit. The implication is that buying multiple items in a bundle will be cheaper than buying each accessory separately, but that isn’t always true. Make sure you’ve confirmed each item’s price before taking advantage of a bundle deal. If that doesn’t work, you can try to save money by buying a refurbished model. The good news is that, since the standard retail cost of the Quest is $299 / £299 / CAD$399.99 for the 128GB version and $399 / £399 / CAD$549.99 for the 256GB version, you’re still spending a good bit less than you would if you were buying another console like the Xbox Series X or PS5.

Of course, special sale events like Amazon’s Prime Day and the upcoming Memorial Day holiday weekend may also present some opportunities to save some cash, so it’s always worth checking back on this page to see what’s new (we’ll keep updating it as new deals appear). So without further ado, let’s take a drive into deal city and explore the Oculus Quest 2 promotions of the month. Oculus Quest 2 128GB pricesREDUCED PRICE

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is the Oculus Quest 2?

Simply put, the Oculus Quest 2 is a VR video game console. But unlike other consoles, the Quest is a completely standalone device that requires no connection to a TV or computer (although there is an option to display what’s happening inside the headset on a nearby screen). A Facebook account is required to log in, but once setup is complete you’re given access to all of the Oculus Quest 2 games and apps found in the Oculus/Meta store.

Is the Oculus Quest 2 worth it?

Although the console isn’t perfect (and some users may not like the Facebook requirement), the answer to this question is an adamant yes. The Quest 2 is the best VR headset that Oculus has ever produced, and with a price tag that’s under $400 for the 256GB version, there’s really no good reason to pass it up if you’re interested in VR gaming.

Which Oculus Quest 2 should I buy?

Even if you’ve done some research, you may still be trying to decide if you should buy the 128GB or 256GB version of the Oculus Quest 2. With price tags of $299 and $399 respectively, the decision ultimately comes down to how frequently you think you’ll use it.

Both variants have the same features and access to the same apps, the only real difference comes down to storage. 128GB is plenty of space for people who only want to play 20-30 games at a time, while users who want access to everything that the console has to offer will be more satisfied with the 256GB version.

Once you set up your Oculus Quest 2, you’ll need to buy some games. Head over to our list of the best Oculus Quest 2 games so you can stop searching and start playing.
